This is my first blog on this forum, I want to build this photo
The items that I use are
The italeri lowerhull with a resin ABM M4A1 DV early conversion, transmission is from tasca, the interior is from Verlinden, TWS and CMK. Some extra parts are from dragon and tamiya
Dry fits of conversion and engine
The turret Hasselt been adapted, some parts has been cut out with some electric tools. But it all fits
en de losse onderdelen voor dit stuk
First trv to apply rust paint. I ve used Mig pigments for this attempt. In short, I've soaked the parts in pigment fixer and applied dry pigments on the fixer. When dry applie more dry pigments untill you are happy with it.
The build is almost finished, I've added the panda plastic skelton tracks with AFV club end connectors and Afv club T51 tracks for this project. The suspentions was not great. A lot of parts are wraped, but for this KO sherman it is not a big deal,
I've added the missing rivets on the hull and added some small parts.
Thanks for all the replies. Meanwhile I've put some paint on the model and have weathered the turret. Also The interior has been added and destroyed but at the end there isn't much visible
The painting has been done with tamiya Acryls. I've used Olive drab with up to 70% Buff.
Simply superb work. I've never had the courage to attempt a wreck before. Full interiors, yes...but modeling the shredded remains of a brewed-up interior is far more challenging, IMO. Congratulations on a stunning piece of work.
"You could probably use some armor. A Sherman can give you a very nice...edge!"
