Greetings fellow Sherman Modelers! I am Frank Blanton from Richmond, Virginia U.S.A. Looking forward to some great builds and discussions with y'all!
I 'fell in love' with our famed tank in 1/35th scale when I got back in the hobby in 1985. Back then you had a Tamiya Easy 8 an Italleri M4A1 76mm gun and the venerable Nichimo Sherman M4A1 75mm. When Tamiya introduced their M4A3 75 in 1987 what a heart stopper. Mixing the Italleri 76mm gun turett with the new Tamiya hull and Sqaudrons Sherman in Action book, wow!
I have been enjoying them ever since. Now my Sherman fix has been really taken to the next level with the Asuka sherman kits range in 1/35th scale.
