Hey Jeff, Sorry for the delay in responding to your question here. The short answer from me is "unfortunately I do not have any scale plans for the deep water fording kits" But all is not lost.
Also check out Tank Workshop as they have some options for wading kits.
I think the last option for the M4 is the best bet, however some work will still be needed to bring it in line for an M4A3.
Here is a shot of the fording kit components from the TM 9-2853. By the way you can buy a CD/PDF version of this TM from Easy 1 Productions ( I strongly recommended any and all of his products!)
Lastly in case you have not seen the following document it out lines the modifications applied to Shermans belonging to the 4th Tank Battalion for operations on Iwo, you might find them helpful.
Will Jeff I hope you find some of this helpful and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. BTW I'm putting the finishing touches on research for an Iwo Sherman I'll be starting here vary soon.
Good Luck!

Thanks a million for the info. Evilbay has those kits at about $50-60--much more than I wanted to pay. Actually spent today roughing out on paper with help of Son of Sherman some basic dimensions. Gonna take an old Tamiya hull to work tomorrow and see if I cant get farther along. I've got the book those after-action reports came from--its great. I'd rather make the dang thing than try and modify something else. I gotta work cheap.
