This is another project that I have been working on. The pictures below are my inspiration. It’s an M4A1 Mid production with the M34 mount and early bogies. This picture was taken in Italy in 1945. This looks like the perfect subject to try the AK effects on.
This is the Kit I am using, Tasca’s 35-L31
I don’t have a lot done to this one yet, but I’ll post some pics as soon as I get some taken.

This should be a very interesting build. This kit is a rare bird and is a white box out production model. I have the OOP white box 35-L28 Sherman III with Initial VVSS. Kind of timid to start it since it is pretty rare. Glad to see you are going in guns a blazing.
Ha ha , thanks Dave! I buy them to build them. I've already "cut and glued" some stuff together so it to late to turn back. I have seen these kits on eBay from time to time, so I might locate another one for stash sometime.
OK, as promised, I will share a couple of pics of my progress to date. Not much done yet. I’m not working in any particular order here.
Since I want to concentrate more on the painting and weathering on this one, I’m going to build it out of the box without all the little tweaks as my other M4A1s I have going. About the only thing I’ll add is some photo etched tool straps. And maybe an aftermarket tow cable.
The upper and lower hull is not fixed into place yet. I still need to finish out the parts that mount to the rear plate. The turret is almost complete except for a few small details.
