That some serious fire power right there uncle R. Neck! You decide to do a seminar on how to paint the proper greens on specific countries and tank types, i expect my invitation in the mail in short order!
Gary since I do variants of the same type SPGs I don't want to have them all look the same. With that in mind i've spent a bunch of time researching color only to find out none of it is written in stone. Paint manufacture has to many variables and all people(and cameras) don't see color the same as you or I and exposure to the elements plays a big hand too.
I'll take a basic description of a color like this green has brown tonal qualities or that green is more yellow and just play with the mix, who's qualified to dispute what's correct with all the variables mentioned above? Besides after you throw filters, washes, pigments and or chalks on it what do you wind up with anyway?
If you've got a tank sitting in your back yard you can build an exact copy of it at that exact moment in time otherwise I don't worry about it.

I'm thinking about add something about it to my "Model Philosophy", you have given me something to think about how I should approach builds like this. Excellent Work!!!
