For all you IDF Sherman fans out there, Aaron Schmishney has you covered for your jerrycan racks. He has created a set of 3D-printed racks which look fabulous. The tie-down loop is printed on the rack, and the standoffs are nice and long. Aaron includes tie-downs for the tank as well, which no one else has done (one strap goes on the rack, the other on the tank, and are buckled together to secure the can). Cleverly, he also includes a drill jig! Just tack this down on the hull, and use a .020" drill bit to get the holes started. Remove the jig, finish the holes, and insert the rack. You can easily set your standoff distance this way, and in some places can even secure them with glue from inside the tank! A set of a dozen racks, enough to do two IDF Shermans, is $14.99 plus shipping from the Shapeways shop:
If you're curious, the model is mine; an M4A2 DV-based M50 for a group build over on Plastic Armour. I'm using a modified reject casting of my own M50 turret for it; Aaron allowed me to order a prototype set of these can racks for it. Needless to say, I'll be ordering several more sets of these

"You could probably use some armor. A Sherman can give you a very nice...edge!"
