Depends on what youre using it for. I haven't had my hands on it for years but if I remember correct its no way near up to todays standards. I would avoid it and try for a newtigermodels turret (I think they have some) if you want aftermarket.
I don't think it's a bad kit just old, it is just a solid turret, so if you are going to model it with the hatches closed you should be ok. You may have to contend with a bent barrel as this is resin and not metal.
Lost out on ebay, went a bit too high for my liking £13.52, don't know if that was reasonable but was only really interested because it had the mantlet cover. Was thinking of using it on an IDF M1.
If your not doing the dozer version you will need to remove the 4 station keeping lights on the top of the turret. I have this kit it looks really nice, but I have not started it yet.
Another option would be if you can get a hold of the Dragon M4A2 76 mm Red Army kit, it comes with a vinyl mantlet cover.
Hi Rod I know the Adler turret its a very nice piece, unfortunately its out of my price range at the moment, would love to do one of those dozers but getting info is not easy as I know you are finding. Jeff I would like to take you up on the offer for the mantlet cover, whereabouts in Arizona you located, ive been out there 4 times and loved every minute of my times there, great place to live so many places and things to see and do.
Hi Jeff We spent a few days east of Pheonix , Apache Junction but did venture into Pheonix to visit a gun show just off the big freeway to Tucson and to visit a shop that specialises in Cowboy Action Shooting stuff Wild west mercantile on main st. mesa. How does $7 via paypal sound to cover the mantlet cover.
