What the...you don't have any of them!!! With the Internets these dayz you really don't need them. I'm a bit 'old' school and still like to hold the print in my hands
Nice!! I need more books on a lot of different genre. It may be old school with the interweb and all but the feel of the paper, not to mention just opening the book and either thumbing through or using it for reference...the computer is just not the same!
Yeah, I have some sherman books, just not the ones Eric posted. I did have the Hunnicutt book at one time, but I sold it when I thought I was going to give up this hobby back around 2000. Man I really kick myself in the you know what now.
I have the Hunnicutt book and a hard back copy of the Ampersand Son of Sherman.I have all of the Concord Sherman series books that Zaloga did on the Sherman. Those new books of his seem to be compilations of what is available in the aforementioned Concord books.
Ok. I am going to add some books that are in my shop. Now Allied E has mentioned the grandaddy Sherman book. R.P. Hunnicutt's is the stand out here. I would add the following:

I too have most of them, except the Hunnicutt and the Belton Cooper book (which I will never own) and then all the specialties like the Firefly, British, Canadian and the Israeli Sherman. Which makes it kinda redundant, huh? LOL
I really liked the Tank Warfare on Iwo Jima. Man... the things they did to those Shermans almost made them unrecognizable!
You can never have too much reference. These shots show my Sherman shelf:
As you can see, there's Hunnicutt, Son of Sherman, Hayward on the Firefly, Gannon on IDF Shermans, all the Manasherob Sherman books to date, most of the Osprey New Vanguard titles, the Squadron In Action and Walk-around titles, and more. A few aren't seen in these frames, such as my copies of Royal Canadian Armoured Corps: An Illustrated History, South Albertas at War, and the two Armor Photogallery titles on Colors & Markings of the Canadian Army. For the M50 and M51, I also have the Verlinden book, Moustafa Assad's book, Samer Kassis' titles on AFVs in Lebanon, abd the Concord books covering armor of the Middle-East Wars. I've got several of Toadman's photo CDs, plus a hard-drive with images scoured from the internet and my own travels in North America and abroad. And I keep adding to this as new titles are released which don't overly duplicate what I already have.
"You could probably use some armor. A Sherman can give you a very nice...edge!"
That's just the modeling-related stuff for Shermans, Dogfish. There are other shelves with lesser amounts of material for the Pershing/Patton series, M41/M42, Centurion, and others. And a whole lot of military history from the Roman period to the present; I got my undergraduate degree in History. The library covers an entire wall in my L-shaped War Room, probably twelve linear feet long and six feet high. Another book case about four feet long and six high has the wargame collection: Avalanche Press, Avalon Hill, SPI, Decision Games, Victory Games, GDW, and more. Been a gamer almost as long as I've been a modeler!
