If you don't like your Shermans fried, toasted, over easy, wet or otherwise disposed of, shy away now!!
Hi peoples!
Just wanted to start things off here on the Sherman Shop with a few things from the destructive side of life. In here I want to add a collection of wrecked, burnt, rusty, submerged and/or just plain knocked out Shermies! Being fascinated by the carnage of wrecked steel and all it has to offer I thought it would be great to show some off. I find looking at the wrecks builds my mojo for building and also sheds a light on the properties of metal. This helps a lot when working on projects whether I need a little damage or a lot!.

Thanks Eric...for me I guess you can't have one without the other...there will be plenty of reference photos of working tanks but there is still the need to see the wrecks! Kind of like driving by an accident on the highway...you just have to look!

I have a couple of shots of Barracuda, the Sherman that can be found in place McAuliffe in Bastogne, it's a knocked out one, got a couple of shots on the left sponson. I have to download them on the pc and I'll share them
Just discovered these, nice collection, with the pics of the ones in action and now museums we often forget that there was a much darker side to serving in AFV's that doesn't quiet get its recognition and its just as historical as those left running.
